Head of Product
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and align them with the company’s strategy and user needs.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, features, and requirements based on in-depth user and customer research, market trends, data analysis, and business objectives.
- Oversee the product development process, from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring quality, usability, and users’ satisfaction.
- Measuring and evaluating the product performance, impact, and outcomes using user feedback, data-driven methods and tools.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, legal, finance and other departments in order to launch, explain and grow the product.
- Collaborate with the engineering department connecting product and technology perspectives to deliver high-quality products.
- Perfect the product development process increasing its speed and quality. Move fast using prototyping and experimentation to verify product ideas.
- Lead and manage the product management team, foster a culture of customer-obsession, and data-driven decisions making, trust, collaboration, innovation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to ensure our product remains competitive and relevant.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external partners, such as developers, designers, marketers, salespeople, users and customers.
- Assess impact of product ideas on users and business; address potential risks as a part of developed solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Native Vietnamese or extensive experience working in Vietnam, with a strong understanding of the local job market and cultural nuances. International education background or work experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in product management
- Proven track record of delivering successful products that meet the customer and business needs in mobile and marketplace environments.
- Excellent product sense and vision, and ability to translate complex problems and solutions into simple and intuitive products
- Creative, visionary, strategic, customer-obsessed mindset.
- Strong analytical and data-driven skills, and ability to use data and metrics to inform product decisions and measure product outcomes
- Exceptional communication (including English), collaboration skills and presentation skills, and ability to communicate and influence effectively across different levels and functions.
- Experience with agile and lean product development methodologies, and familiarity with product management tools and best practices
- Curious, quickly learning and applying new technologies to solve problems for customers, to reach new audiences, and to enable new business models.
- UX/UI designing & code programming experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related fields, or equivalent work experience is a plus.
