DevOps Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a DevOps team, responsible for implementing and nurturing a DevOps culture within the organization’s corporate software platforms, provide direction in both technical and people management.
  • Take full ownership of the DevOps discipline and be responsible for managing all server/infrastructure related issues. 
  • Develop detailed project plans to meet company and department objectives., collaborate with other stakeholders and contractors to ensure successful project completion.
  • Work with engineers on the design, deployment and continuous improvement of important infrastructure services (i.e. logging, monitoring and alerting). Provide input on technical decisions and solutions that align with the organization’s overall goals and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

Experiences & Competencies:

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience at Senior DevOps/ DevOps Lead.
  • Deep understanding about CI/CD, SaaS/PaaS cloud architectures.
  • Excellent understanding of SDLC, patching, releases and software development at scale.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud providers offering.
  • Experience in monitoring and alert tools.
  • Have experience in cost savings and cost optimization.
  • Team management experience (including hiring, performance management, leadership).
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and testing skills.
  • Ability to deliver independently and to translate requirements into technical solutions with minimal supervision.

Technical skills:

  • CI tools, Jenkins pipeline, Groovy scripting
  • AWS
  • K8S, Docker
  • OOP, Data Structures, MYSQL, Redis
  • Git Workflow
